When it comes to inflatable boat repair, New Jersey services may or may not be available. There are a few places that can help to repair such vessels here and there, but when looking for inflatable boat repair, New Jersey opportunities are few and far between.

You may want to start looking for such services through Gateway Marina & Yacht Sales, where they may still do some inflatable boat repair. New Jersey locations can be found in local listings. This business has been family owned and operated for 55 years now, meaning that they were around when inflatables were more popular. Today, you’ll find them mostly as a backup in a larger boat, which is why there are so few locations that offer inflatable boat repair. New Jersey area salesmen are more likely to try to sell you a new one, which these days is probably not a great deal more expensive than getting the one you have repaired.

Why would anyone want to pay for an inflatable boat repair? New Jersey residents who live near the shore often have expensive homes and expensive boats, and many of them would not consider it economical to simply buy a new inflatable every time a small hole was discovered. While the cost is usually very similar, these boat owners may have had even their inflatable boats custom made.

While it’s not exactly a lost art, the ease and low price involved in getting something like a small Jon boat has severely reduced the need for services like inflatable boat repair, especially in areas like New Jersey, where such vessels were never used frequently. However, it is still possible to find a few locations and individuals who can help you with the problem.
